wow! I am sorry to hear that, to have a building and everything! We would love to have a building like that. Just don't give up, talk to everyone you know, you can get a group together, just don't give up. I could get at least 6 people right now to see over to you. Well if they were willing to travel that is............

Yeah that is a problem.
So sorry K :( :( :( I hope you can get another going soon!!! (((HUGS)))

So sorry K... maybe ask around and instead of calling it a Quilting bee.. maybe Crafters Nite Out. Or Girls nite ... don't limit it to just quilters and see what happens . Just a thought. My friend and I meet once a week for girls/crafting nite, we just use either her house or mine, but we get to sit and chat and carry on
Oh how sad!   Can you run an ad in the paper for new quilters to meet at the same place? Print up a quick flyer and post it at your lqs, library, post office? I bet there are quilters out there that are just looking for someone like you to break the ice! I wish I was there too, cause I would join right in! Don't give up, just start beating the bushes!
   Oh no. I'm so sorry. Hopefully you will find another group to join.
I am sorry to hear about the group breaking up. About six years ago my group broke up so I asked around in church and got several "takers". We meet at the church twice a month, no dues or rules, just friendship and sharing. Word of mouth got around an we now have 12 plus ladies. We take turns bringing lunch and enjoy the day. Hopefully you can do something like this. Especially with winter coming on. Marge

I would still go to the sew day even if I was by myself. Spread the word and soon you'll have people join you.
Check out the churches and even the public library! I quilt at my church, and our libraries offer space and have groups!
I am sorry you must be so disappointed but remember YOU STILL HAVE US!!!!!!!
