Perhaps try arranging them into a star shape with the darker sides all facing into the middle, rather than in the rows as you have them?

Am I supposed to put a border around the whole quilt with a completely different fabric? or put another row of dark brown around the cream and then a border? maybe rearrange the blocks? H-E-L-P ...

Maybe change the two darkest sides to a more medium, rich brown and use the ones you have now for a sashing between the blocks.

Whatever you decide - please post a picture so we can see the finished quilt - it's lovely!!!

That being said....it's your quilt. Audition different fabrics and see what you like best. |

Your colors are beautiful. I have yet to do LC so I would love to watch as you rearrange them (if thats what you decide to do). I can only imagine the patterns that would emerge. Fun, fun, fun. I also agree that adding a fine strip of red in the border would POP.

Thanks for sharing this. I didn't know this was available on the QB.

You could add black borders on the sides that don't have black for a shadow box effect. Then add another border (probably a dark print) around the entire thing.
