Oh gosh...that is just beautiful! I'm like you, I would prefer the solid wood, but the Declaration is an interesting touch! The machine looks fantastic though, and all those attachments...why I wouldn't even know what half of them are!

Check out the Vintage Sewing Machine Shop. Lots of information there. I'm hooked on it.

I am green with envy. The machine looks just like the one may grandmother had. Would love love love to find one just like it. What I rememeber the most is the drawers and the cravings on the front of them. Don't know what ever happen it when she passed.

She looks just like my Ruth, circa 1910, 101 years old and still sewing a beautiful stitch. Congratulations on a beautiful machine, my very favorite decal.
When you're cleaning her be careful with the decals and don't use anything caustic to clean with; most especially don't use anything with ammonia in it as it will silver your decals. Take your time and it will get done.

I do believe that some of those attatchments are not back clamp, but many of them are. I am envious, as mine came with ONE foot only. But that's OK, I put Black Bertha in her cabinet and she is raring to go if I just get on the ball and get the new belt put on.

Where do you get the belt, and do you have to cut it to size? Mine still needs cleaned, our cabinet was painted an antique green which has been stripped off now, but with the current belt it is fighting us and not running smoothly.

Wonderful! You can see from my avatar that I have one too, just a bit older and with brown lotus decals rather than the red eye... Not all of those attachments are for your machine, and there are duplicates of some. You have both side clamping and back clamping attachments in your photo, but your machine will only take one or the other. You can keep the rest, in case you find another machine one day that could use them.

When you get an instruction book for the machine, it shows all the attachments and how to use them. You can download those online, but I like having a hard copy of an original book in the drawer for each of my machines.

Treadling isn't any harder than tapping your heel while you are sewing. I love to treadle!

Enjoy!

You're correct about the attachments not all being for this machine; some of them are for a low shank, side attaching Singer. My machine also came with a full set of back clamping
attachments.
