Sorry to say that is the drawback of all classes. In pre-k. children come home and tell parents their training is wrong because teacher so&so said to do it that way. My grandmother always said it takes a newly baptised person a year to calm down and realize everyone falls short of the mark of perfection. You were wise to point her towards this site. She may learn if it works for a project, no one cares how it is done.
Hang in there she will calm down. |
This is a great thread!
Y'all are so great - I've been laughing, crying & plumb mad with all of you. Like has been said, give her time & maybe she will mellow. |
Just don't point her in our direction! I don't need the QP to tell me I am wrong;)

[quote=Shelby]I don't really NEED all the rulers I have.
It won't be long before she's wanting to borrow those needless rulers! |

I learned to quilt from a lady that receives a blue ribbon at the state fair every single year. She makes the most beautiful quilts. Her rules? "just follow your heart deary, and try to make your blocks square" Considering the source, that sums up the "rules" for me.

Tell her if she keeps it up, you will send her to Quilt Prison, where no one is allowed an opinion until they have been a quilter for 20 years to life :)

I'd sit her down and talk to her if she was mine hmmmm. :D :D
