Your eye goes to the lightest part and that one on the left was oriented down instead of out. Thanks for fixing it. I think, but I could be wrong as I don't totally understand it yet, but EQ7 does that kind of stuff.

So as it turns out, not only was the coloring of that section wrong, but so was the 1/4 sq triangle wrong [the extra dot is where the old line was]. So here are the corrections

Make a photo copy of the pic and then cut out the blocks (9 patch). The area that might be giving you a bit of confusion is the corner block. Think of it as a mini 9 patch, not having the white 'L'. If you look at each block individually, it should make sense. There are only 3 different blocks, try looking at them one at a time and you should be ok.

Wow - thanks so much for this....now to determine the finished size I want to work with....don't want those center pieces too tiny :-)
Actually, when I printed it out and noticed the measurements, I am way ahead of the game if I leave it at 27" finished. |

I think this would be easy to get out the graph paper and pencil which is what I often do but QuiltnNan gave you wonderful instructions. Aren't these QB members wonderful and so helpful???? Can't ask for any better!!!!
