it would make a great quilt back too.

Oh what cute fabric. Depending on how much of this you have, I would first cut it in strips between each of the big & little bears. Then cut the strips again to make blocks out of each bear. With the big bears. I would cut pink squares the same size & alternate a bear & pink square. Then put a thin brown border around it to frame it. Then I would do the same with the small bears except just put the pink to the top & bottom of the bears to make those into another border. After this, if need be, to make it bigger, you could add another brown border, pink border & red border. That way you may have enough to make both your girls a quilt. You may be able to find pink fabric with red hearts for the alternating squares. I think this would make a fantastic quilt.

I had this same fabric (long before I was quilting) and I appliqued the bears on sheatshirts and T-shirts for my grandkids. there is a pattern that is shelves and you could put the bears on the shaves. just a thought

When I buy fabric I can't bear to cut up, I leave it whole and just put borders on it until it is large enough.

Cut out the bears and applique them on a square.

Just can't cut it pattern or Maple Island patterns would work with that fabric.

I agree about either a center panel or as backing.

I would cut the bears apart and use the mixed size bears as mixed sized blocks, maybe adding a few heart blocks along the way. Cute fabric.

Fussy cutting squares/rectangles with sashing or backing fabric. Lovely piece of fabric.
