I did a bargello with 21 different blues. It is pretty.

How about a log cabin, using the really light shades for the light side of the quilt and the medium to darker shades for the dark side. Or use white on the light side and all the different blues on the dark side!

I made a quilt using all colors of blue. It is beautiful, I gave it to my youngest daughter. It is made with different patterns of blueinit. I made blocks of the log cabin pattern and blocks of fans patterns ( fans . that are just in the corners of the blocks, the blades of the fan have pointed tips, and not round ends) NOW, I put the blocks in an arrangement that made sunflower s , with the log cabin blocks worked in. I know this is not a good explaination. but it makes a beautiful quilt. The fans are made on a tone on tone beige fab.

oh confound it i can't find the link but there is a pattern called atlantis that is all blues and would be a great (and easy) scrappy!
im also a fan of the chinese coins / nickel quilt patterns... can't wait to see what you come up with!! |
How about 4 o 9?? It is a 4 patch and then cut into thirds horizontally and vertically and resew into a 9 patch.
Try it with paper to get the full effect before you cut into your collection. |
