I think the French Braid would be beautiful. I love that pattern. I haven't made it yet but I do plan on it someday when I get some things caught up. Have fun with whatever pattern you decide on.

How about just different 10" squares? Just butted up against each other ....maybe with a dark blue ( I LOVE blue) binding. I WANT that!

I love it Paula! Your bro is a lucky guy.
Hugs.

just wondering if an all-blue log cabin would be interesting... are there enough shades for that kind of contrast? hmmmm? whatever you decide, it will probably be spectacular!!

How about the gumball quilt? Any and all shades of blues, easy squares, rectangles and triangles. Very easy

I did the Eleanor Burns Tennessee waltz in blue, twice. It would probably look good done scrappy.

Thank you for all of your suggestions. I have worked for 3 days and have one bookcase of fabric refolded and sorted. Have 3 more to go but not as much fabric as in the first.
Finding material that I am thinking why did I buy that...so a blue quilt and a scrappy are in my near future.
Love all the ideas.
thanks,
Susan
