Hi, I found these nippers/clippers a month or so ago in my sewing room and LOVE THEM !
I'd like to find the source where I can get more of this particular brand. They are marked on both blades with MGS. Can anyone help. See photo. Thanks

They can be found in the jewelry making section of craft stores. I have seen them at Walmart, Michaels and Hobby Lobby. They are where all the beads are.

I've seen them before too in craft shops. They shouldn't be too hard to find.

There is a brand called Anchor clippers that look a lot like these and you can find new ones on ebay for under $10.

What do you use them for?? Just curious...... Kind of wicked looking.

I use these at my sewing machine(s) to clip threads when I pull my work out of the machine. I don't care for the cutter on the machine as the cut is not as easy to do or as clean. Sounds like others have helped you find more of this brand.

I got a similiar pair several years ago at Walmart. It came in a package with a tape measure, and I believe a hem guide. All for less than $5. I also use them at my sewing machine. They are really handy when cutting apart pieces that have been chain pieced together.

No idea what the MGS stands for. But I can enthusiastically recommend these Kai snips:

Thanks for your help so far, but I am Specifically looking for the nippers with MGS marked on the blade. These have been the BEST I have ever used and I'd like a source for that particular brand. I have tried other brands already.

Yes, they are really handy to have at your sewing machine to clip threads and corners off of squares.
