I can sew much better than I draw but this is what I would do.

I was trying to figure out how to describe what I thought would be good and scrolled down and spied Baloonatic's spirals. That is almost what I was thinking! Small world. Then I saw her second idea. You might consider the spirals in the white and the curved triangles on the prints of vice-versa.

Someone suggested hearts. How about hearts in all the white triangles, and leave the other ones empty. That will look very nice on the back too.

I think that if you free hand simple curves from point to point inside each triangle it would be stunning. Charisma does this a lot on squares and triangles in her quilts. It would be a nice contrast to the straight lines and angles without detracting from the quilt pattern.
I was going to suggest the curves too. You can even do them using the walking foot if you prefer that. You can do one arc one direction and meander to the other side doing the next. When you are done with one line, do the other direction and you will end up with a serpentine set of curves. |

What a playful quilt, and just lookit them points! You didn't say how you will be quilting this, will it be a LA or a DSM? I'm not good at quilting with a mouse, but here is one idea...

Have you thought about echo quilting it?
|
What a cute idea, Balloonatic! I haven't tried FMQ yet, but I think I'd like to try your idea!. It really looks nice on the quilt!

I think echo quilting would be very modern, but you don't want to do straight lines so I would go with the curves, please post pics when you're finished.
