need suggestions for quilting this

I need your suggestions for quilting this top. Let me mention that the backing is Cuddle Bubble...Minkee fabric. Also, I am not good with ruler work...so that's out. I do free-motion, but just don't like the idea of a big meandering on this top. I think what's throwing me on this one, is that it doesn't need to be dense quilting (because of the Minkee???) and the triangular shape. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I need to get to quilting, but I have a "creative mental block" on this! I know someone will "show me the way."

I don't care for the meandering quilting either. This quilt has lots of sharp angles, I think it needs some curves and curls.

What a playful quilt, and just lookit them points! You didn't say how you will be quilting this, will it be a LA or a DSM? I'm not good at quilting with a mouse, but here is one idea...

Or if you want more straight lines you could quilt 1/4 inch from each seam.

Depending on the size of the triangles, I think tying it would "agree" with it.

I forgot to say that I will quilt it on a longarm. And, I really like your idea. thanks.

I think that if you free hand simple curves from point to point inside each triangle it would be stunning. Charisma does this a lot on squares and triangles in her quilts. It would be a nice contrast to the straight lines and angles without detracting from the quilt pattern.

Also, the triangular length is 6 inches from point to bottom. I just felt that whatever was done in one triangle will need to be reversed in the next one, because of the inverted shape, etc.

I really agree that some kind of curves would be good.

I like Baloonatic's idea with the curly-cues. Great job on all those points.
