That is going to be a great sewing space. Are you going to put a long bench seat under that window (with storage underneath of course)?

davidwent 03-02-2011 02:24 PM

May you find extra joy in your ability to quilt in such a beautiful "room" Looks like you have a restful outlook from the windows, too! Congratulations.

cctx. 03-02-2011 07:07 PM

Looking good, keep it up. It won't be long.

OneMoreQuilt 03-02-2011 07:12 PM

justlooking 03-03-2011 03:30 AM

WOW, but it won't take as long as you think.

Connie Merritt 03-03-2011 04:16 AM

May I encourage you to keep going on this fantastic to be room. I was in this situation (another health problem)but each day I would huff and puff working through and finally got it done (my husband had MS and could not do this). That tough but it did keep me going. Remember little by little. I will pray for your health to continue to the good and for strength for your daily needs. You stated your DH is killing you? What does that mean; is he simply worried about you?

mimisharon 03-03-2011 06:23 AM

Oh how gorgeous it's going to be. You just sit down and rest awhile, before you know it you'll be wondering how you ever created without the wonderful surroundings.

I'm sorry to hear of your health issues be thankful that man is there to watch after you!

What color are you going to paint the inside? Oh, I want to visit and really get a tour first hand. I see so many wonderful things coming from it.

Hugs

You are so lucky to have a big room like that. I am sure you will enjoy sewing in such a big room and be very organized.

maryb119 03-03-2011 06:26 AM

I remember when my house was in that stage of remodeling. It ment the end was near and it would be finished soon.

Donna Mae 03-03-2011 06:27 AM

its going to be happiness when its finished.
Keep up the good work.

simple quilter

stitchofclass2 03-03-2011 06:31 AM

Your room is going to be lovely with the window and light. I would caution you to remove your sewing machines and thread completely from the room when sanding your walls. That dust goes everywhere (ask me how I know) and it is not good for thread or machines. I would even put a rung up against the door jam or cover the door with plastic. Just my thoughts to save you some headaches later. Would love to see it when finished.

alissa 03-03-2011 06:52 AM

wow great room

Bobbielinks 03-03-2011 07:07 AM
