I actually started making Yoyos for my GM when she and my GAs got together once a week. I was 5 so that was 78 years ago. Made my first top and tied it That was 44 years ago.

I started when I made a quilt for my first born - 35 years ago! Been at it ever since and sew clothing. Have made several wallhangings from my cross stitch projects.

Sewing for 56 years, started on a treadle and made all the clothes for my children. Started quilting 7yrs. ago when my oldest daughter came for a visit and forced me to learn paper piecing, she said, "you'll love it". Some days yes, some no. So now it is all about quilting. So, it be 7 yrs. for quilting.

1 year for me. I'm the newest on this one.

73 years for me-76 now-1st memory is tearing strips of fabric and stacking them in colors for Mother. Then tying the quilts with her. What fun was that.

I've been quilting around 18 months. Didn't start until I was almost 70.

I've been quilting for 13 years. I started in 1996 when I had to give up my job for health reasons, but there were 2 years when I did no quilting or sewing. I've made about 100 quilts and a number of wall hangings,runners, placemats and other small projects.

I made my first quilt 38 years ago then I didn't make another quilt for 20 years, so I guess I've really been quilting for 18 years.
