I first quilted in 1974 but took some years off right when rotary cutting came in and then came back to it 3 years ago.

I absolutely hated the sewing part of Home Ec and swore that I would never go near another sewing machine! Then in 1972, while we were living in Lancaster, PA I took a free quilting class from a Mennonite lady and I fell in love. Of course it was hand applique; still no sewing machine needed :lol: . So I have been quilting now for 39 years and still love every aspect of it. And...I now share my house with 14 vintage machines and 3 computerized. So never say never :lol: .
