Made my first quilt in 1974 and have been quilting on-and-off since then. so I guess...about 37 years.

13 for me.

Started sewing squares when I was twelve so 33 years.

I started quilting when I could help my mother back in the 50's Made my first quilt in 1962 when my first husband was killed on his 24th birthday and I had a 6 month old daughter that kept me going.Made clothes for her and then in 1971 got remarried and made clothes then for our three children. Have been quilting ever since.

I have been sewing for 53 years and really refused to get into quilting. When my first dgd was born 19 1/2 years ago, I decided to make her a baby quilt (biscuit type) and the bug got me. Now all 6 dgk have quilts and I am working on my kids plus baby quilts for a lot of friends and quilt tops (just to try out the pattern). So I guess I am a quilter now.

been sewing 75 yrs. since before I started school . quilting less than a year. beenraising kids(4), grandkids(4 out of 7), greatgrandkid (2out of 8).

65 years. Did my first machine piecing when I was 12 yrs. old. Our stash was sewing scraps and remnants, everything was cotton at that time. When the scrap box got full, it was time to make a quilt!

I discovered quilting about 30 years ago, thanks to a wonderful teaching friend -- I have done other projects, but quilting has been there to try as time permitted -- now it's an addiction and a full-time hobby
