Since last June, so 10 months. I was tired of crocheting, knitting, and cross stitch. I was looking for something that I could see my progess quickly, I could continue to do into my golden years that would be easier on the eyes and hands, so I tried quilting and so far am very addicted.

Made my first quilt for a baby shower gift for my now 38 year old nephew. Started my second, which started the obsession, 3 years ago. Other than small repairs, did not sew, let alone quilt in between.

I have been quilting for 14 years .Had been sewing for 46 years but one day my daughter brought me to a quilting group who were doing paper piecing and I was hooked. Did make one twin and one king sized quilt paper pieced and multiple others that were not paper pieced I am now paper piecing again a Carol Doaks mariners compass that will be queen sized. I admit to being addicted.

Very newbie. About six months. Two projects (both table runners) completed so far. One quilt top pieced.
