10 years i made a cot quilt for our first grand daughter it was applique of teddy bears:) 2001

I have been hand quilting for 40+ yrs.

I've been sewing since age 12. Started out by making pillow cases, went on to sew clothing and when my children came along, I sewed for them. I've been quilting for about 10 years now. I still do garment sewing now that I have grandchildren. I haven't done much sewing of any kind this past month as I am packing to move to my new house.

Started with a class in January and have not stopped. I am on my third and fourth (two in process) quilt and I don't see an end in sight. And yes I did quilt my own. Only stitch in the ditch but It was on my own machine. I am a newborn at this.
So the math is 4 months.

I have been quilting 19 years.

I started quilting because it was something that my sister never did (long story) After I told my best friend I would NEVER sew.
I love it! And I have made over 30 full size quilts.

44 years but not just quilting, sewing & other needlework & crafts too. Now quilting is the primary thing I do (even over housework!)

Quilting on and off since 1960 - 51 years. Serious quilting for 2 years.

Quilting forever, housework never!!

I have been quilting 15 or so years. My daughter became interested in quilting and introduced me to it. Best thing I have ever done.

10 years for me....and still learning!!! :D
