This look really cool and is probably helpful but what do you do with the pins after you pull them back out of the fabric? Do you drop them in a cup or bowl to be reloaded later. They should have put a cup or something on the back to put the loose pins back into.

And what the heck do you do with the pins as you sew and remove them? Lay them on that oh-so-convenient paper funnel next to your already crowded workspace until you've got a pile of them and then load them back into the barrel? Honestly, I am a gadget lover, sewing and in the kitchen. But I just don't see any positives for this thing. |
Not for me. The first thing I thought of was how hard it is to battle tendonitis anyway. Who wants to use all that extra motion just to get a pin, thereby putting more wear and tear on the tendons?

I have a magnet pin cushion, works great! That is the dumbist thing I have ever seen!

I like the idea. A very creative concept, just too much on the EXPENSIVE side. Our local Hancock Fabrics sells it for $34.99 (regular price). They have had it on sale for about 2 weeks, $29.99. I am a BIG GADGET LOVER. Unfortunetly, for Hancock Fabrics, the sale and regular price are too rich for my blood. I agree with every1 I would much rather spend the money on fabric, patterns, books, more fabric, notions & fabric. I would only buy it on clearance for about $7.00 if even then.
Have a blessed day. debra |
Reminds me of the bobbin winder . . . I never use it, just another item on the already crowded work space!

I'm not buying IT!

Think I will stick w/my pincushion.

My pincushion dispenses one pin at at time, too...unless I accidently grab 2 at once! LOL

Looks like a cement mixer! It appears that it takes up as much room as my Featherweight. Can't imagine someone spending the money to develop it in it's current form. Ann in TN
