Litacats: Was I right in reading that you have the 1500 on a Grace frame? Does this mean that this machine will accommodate a carriage and guiding arms just like the big girls use?
Dingle: Hope someone else can help you with the thread question, I just haven't had enough history with the machine yet to know. I am still just piecing not quilting.

Becky Crafts and Prov31- I have the Brother Innovis NX 2000 as well. I love that machine and am so glad to hear you like yours. I love sewing on it.

I totally agree! I love mine, too.

I've got one too and it is a great machine in my opinion. If you haven't got Brother in your area, I understand that Juki made the same machine for a number of companies and it is suited to the job as it is a semi industrial machine.

I haven't had any problems with thread or otherwise on this machine. The telescopic spool holder is great too, as it helps with metallic threads I'm sure. I especially like the fact that it is not computerised.
