How to lay out the wreath.

Here is a link I posted several months ago about how to make your own twister. I would draw it on paper and then reduce it to a smaller size.

I just read somewhere on the net there is also a twister pumkin pattern...I tried finding a pic but came up empty !!

Looks like the possibilities are endless. I haven't seen many actual patterns other than the book, but will start looking. Maybe if I cut out a few of the pinwheel patterns and started playing with paper shapes, some of them would come to life!

Just found that Stephany Ivers designed patterns for JOY and for flag. http://gatheringroomquiltshop.com/id70.html Patterns are available at this site--probably the ones you bought, Jim, since I notice the Gathering Room is in Kentucky. So many creative people in this world!

I didn't think I wanted to do the twister patterns, but the more I read and see I'm getting more and more anxious to try it.

Bonnie, check this site. It is a quilt shop in Katy, Tx---not far from where I live. They are teaching a twister pumpkin and other Halloween designs, including pumpkin....really cute. Called "Boo Twister." I'll try to telephone them later and see if they sell the patterns.

A friend told be that to find the place to put the line just divide the size of the template by 4. So if you were using a 4" template the lines would be 1" from the sides. I hope this helps.
