This WHOLE thread has been an inspiration, and as you can see ... I am way behind times.
Since everyone who joined ended up being so productive AND creative, has anyone considered doing something like this on another thread?
If so - - could you post the link to your next project/challenge that you decided on?
Of course, I am down in the back right now, so none of this is doable in my world, but it sure has been an eye opener of how much could be accomplished by doing at least one thing that same every day.
I have long suspected that it would be a great way to work, but have never gotten around to doing it. And, here you are!
You confirmed my suspicions, and now I have no more excuses.
I'll bet Miss Swan Song never imagined what she was starting! Good job, EVERYONE! <wave>

Hmmmm Tomorrow is the last day of August, so I guess I had better get my butt in gear tonight!!! I have the last of my squares done, but still have about 60 blocks to put together. Yeah, sounds like a lot, but it goes quickly when they can be assembly lined. It won't get quilted for a couple of weeks, but as long as I get the top done, I will be a happy camper. :)

I had to take a break from my nines to get a wall hanging finished for our garden table at church. I figured if I didn't get it done soon, it would have to wait for next years' garden!!! LOL

You seem to be discovering that the major factor in accomplishing anything is to DO IT !!!
Good job! <wave>

You got that right!!!! And I have been knitting/crocheting, etc in church for so many years, that no one batted an eye as I sat stitching the binding on.!! hehehe

I want to go to church with you!
My mom went to a church like that, but it was clear across the state from me. I admire people that can sit calmly with their hands folded in their laps while listening to the sermon, but I personally would prefer working on something as I listen - - I am, after all, a multi-faceted human being <g> ...
It is productive worship! Especially, when, as a handcrafter, I know that I developed a talent based on a gift I received from my Heavenly Father ... I have "talent on loan from GOD!"
Some people sing, some people dance, some people preach, teach, exhort, ... bet you can tell I have thought long and hard about this, can't you? LOL
Good show! <wave>

Come on down!!!!! You are always welcome. :)

A lot of what I knit during service is prayer shawls...so I feel like they are getting a little extra prayer knitted in as I go. ;)

I have been thinking a long time about how to follow up this little project and have come up with several ideas. I think we could use a quilt thru the winter project. So I think after a month or 2 to get our dear 9Ps put together I will make another "quilt along" suggestion. Stay tuned. ;) I hope my computer cooperates this time! :|

Swan Song, that would be wonderful! Even tho I didn't get in the full amount of 9 patches made, I'm still working on them and will continue to do so after this *quilt along* is finished (tomorrow!) I have so many small projects lined up for the blocks I have done so far. Thank you so much for this as it has been very inspiring and motivating for me.
