Praying for a speedy recovery!

Sorry! Your luck sounds a lot like mine...but now you get to read without guilt! Good luck and fast healing, my friend!
|
Rest and read then when your shoulder is healed you will be able to fly through those quilts. Hope you heal fast and have a Merry Christmas.

My gosh, what a terrible time to have that happen. So sorry for you, will think of you. Hope you have someone that can help, would be awful at this time of year!

Once when I had the worst cold ever, all my co-workers each had different advice about which "spirit" to drink. I told the boss I was going home and take everyone's advice. My very best wishes that you mend quickly and have a blessed Christmas.

I can relate. Thanksgiving of 2010 I fell while riding my bike ( and answering my cell phone) and broke my
right shoulder. While my arm was in a sling I found I could turn my machine on and even lower the presser foot with my' left hand so I made tons of scrappy squares just feeding them with my left hand. I used a method I do not know the name of, but you keep adding scraps (small pieces around 2 or 3 inches) to the right side and rotating it until it is big enough to cut a 5 inch square from. I could do this as the stitching did not have to be exact and I could trim them with scissors as I could not use my rotary cutter. When I could finally use my right arm I made a quilt from those squares and called it my broken arm quilt. To good luck to you and I know you will find a way nite&dayquiltlady |
