I say take your time healing. I was foolish after my 2nd shoulder procedure and figured oh what can be so nard about just gently guiding the fabric with the tips of my finger - well not only did I hurt myself bad - pinched a nerve AND afterwards I realized that none of my seams were even :(. After my first procedure I tried hand sewing 2" squares together, how can holding tiny pieces together hurt - duh it hurts!!!
Lol will I learn? And for the member whose dd mentioned getting out of baking - I baked with one arm! Lol |
Sorry to hear about your mishap.
The holidays will make you feel better, I'm sure. |
When my shoulder hurt I used my sewing pillow to support the book I was reading. Then my kids bought me a Nook and I still used the quilting pillow.
At least you can still dream and plan ... and maybe, if you get some gift certificates for a LQS for the Holidays figure out what you want to do with them. Heal well. ali |
sorry, you can take the time and get some project ready to start when you are up to it, take care.
|
Sorry this happened to you. Try not to get too frustrated about not being able to quilt. Hopefully the time will fly by.

OH No.... sorry to hear about your mishap. Glad you will be OK. Keep us posted on your recovery.
|
Sure hope you don't rush your recovery. does no good, because you just do some other damage somewhere. Get well soon.
|
So sorry about your shoulder...that's a rough one. Hope it's healed for you soon. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year. Read up on some new patterns you can make when you're back in the swing of things.

Hope you get better quickly. Youtube is a great when you can't sew. Hope you have loved ones to take extra care of you.
|
Perhaps you could supervise? Sorry to hear that a fellow quilter is "out of action" - hope it heals well.
