So happy to know I am not the only one who has so many safe places that are invisible.

Maybe we could all start a geo-caching game for safe places. Imagine all the treasures that could be found.....
The ultimate scavenger hunt

I lost a pattern while I was cutting looked in all the fabric I had cut from and folded and set aside and there it was folded up in the fabric.

Well of course, because you stop looking! :D

I always find it in the last lace I look. Because I stop looking.
But sometimes I find it in the last place there is to look.

Yes I know exactly what you mean. Usually it is my scissors or those fat quarters of Eagle Scout fabric that I bought 10 years ago and want for a quilt that needs to be finished by Christmas. Tee-Hee-Hee. :o

I am a champion of finding "safe" places to store things. I had purchased a CD as a gift for my DH and put it away in a "safe" place, right? It took me a while to find it....stored between fat quarters in a wire basket!

My mother holds the record for safe places. Years ago she put a garage door opener in a safe place. Twenty-five years later my brother bought the house. Never found the garage door opener but found a coin collection in the rafters.

I have lost things many times and here is what you do----go looking for something else and lo and behold you will find your pressing sheet. I wonder if you could have picked it up with something else as the sheets are fairly thin. Good luck on your search. I lost some templates one time and was in the middle of make a block-ran down to JoAnn's and bought another one and then came home and found the original one. I think the template fairy was using it and just brought it back!!! LOL

Story of my life … I really struggle with organization … when you find it try using a command hook to put on the back of the door. That way it can't get buried in a pile.
