Bummer! I love decorated and pieced backs. Making lemonade out of lemons, great!

So sorry that happened, but yes, I've done that before. Lol. You grin and throw in a stripe of some of your extra fabrics from the quilt. :)

to date i have only ordered from Keepsake Quilting and they package their mailing like wedding gifts!!!!!!
but now, thanks to you for sharing, i will always be very careful........sorry this happened to you but bless you for warning us. |
yep.....the good news is you will probably never do it again :)
|
I call this a design opportunity! :)

LOL...me too! I very rarely use a full pattern...I problem solve with the fabric I have....part of my "artistic creativity"!
|
I did the very same thing on a quilt that Charisma mailed back to me!. It was a auction quilt & I just put a little bit of wonderunder on the 2 tiny snip holes & pressed them closed. Thank heavens it was on the back part of the quilt & probably won't ever be known!! Lesson learned for sure!

Put your quilt label over the whole :)

That has happened to me yet but I have measured wrong and cut the backing too short even though I had enough fabric. So I cut that piece in half and put a strip of blocks in from fabric used in the top. I've also had to cut a flaw out of backing fabric and then fixed it the same way. It's a pretty solution.:)
