Yeah I saw a painting once that I liked. Hubby told me no. It looks great over my couch, I ADMIRE IT EVERY MORNING.
Well I am happy to see I am not the only one. I don't think I will worry about the carma. I really do beleive it will be there if it is meant for me. I just really wanted to stir the pot.

LOL that is great!! Hubbys trying to say no...lol what are they thinking

lol - he won!! no longarm/frame for me.

Yeap me to. Good luck. Alot of people say I'll be over to see it and don't show up.. Hopefully this will be 1 of those times.

No, you're not mean - you're human. As long as you only wish something happens that means the other buyer turns it down, and don't actually try to make it happen, you're doing what 99% of the population would do. You're just more honest. ;-)

Well no e-mail yet but the day isn't over either.

Hubby learned early on to negotiate with me rather then tell me. Telling me to do something is a sure fire way to get me to dig in my heels and do the opposite. We were at dinner once and a girl friend of mine saw something and she said "my husband would never LET ME have that". Even my husband laughed. Her husband did not laugh. He glared. I wonder what ever happened to her. I don't think we have seen them from that night 10 or so years ago to this.

I never hear No from DH because I don't ever ask him. ;-)

Well....my 90 something yr. old lovely MIL told me one time...."they can stop me from actually doing it, but they can't stop me from THINKING it!!"....She was talking about my SIL telling her that she couldn't use swear words in her house....I still laugh about it...And, I think it applies here too k...

Wow! Here it is whoever gets there first gets the item! Nobody waits until the next day for someone who called first.

Mine tried ONE time to tell me, "I don't remember telling you that you could do that..."

I simply replied with a glare and, "I don't remember asking! When did I start calling you "Daddy"? "

Nuff was said...like KWhite...he will try negotiation, but he's aware that I'm an adult, I make money too, and I'm not going to be "ruled" by him or anyone else.

As for Karma...I believe in it to a point...I don't believe that it applies to joking around when no real harmful intent is involved.
