Love, love, love my 15 yr old Janome Memory Craft 9000. It does everything. I would mourn it deeply if it died. No one would get dinner or "anything else", if I couldn't quilt.

I love my Bernina 730 for piecing and FM quilting. It does everything I need it to do without any trouble. However, if I won the lottery, I have to say that the huge width of the Bernina 830 looks amazing...bet I could push a king sized quilt through that baby!!!

Butterflyquilter - I'm a SAHM, and as for your comment that you don't have any of your own money, you should! My husband is the only one with a paycheck, but he's always the first to point out that we both work! He'd even argue that my job is more important than his, as I'm raising our kids. The only difference is that he leaves the house to go to his job, so I'm just as deserving of some of the money from the household income as he is. I hope your husband wakes up, and I hope you get a new machine. Even an $80 machine from Walmart would allow you to quilt.
Actually, forget raking leaves, I think you should have a yard sale and sell some of his stuff to make money for your new machine! |
Bernina 440 QE. Wish I had a long arm too. Maybe some day...

I like this!!! I agree! Have a yard sale!
