Alyce.......great link....I was thinking it would be good to have something to hold the sponges on your hands. |
I have the free motion gripper that comes with the Quilters Kit II for my Husqvarna sewing machine. It's like a little steering wheel and is so much easier on your hands. I have also tried gloves and other methods. This one works for me.

I will always credit quilters with being problem solvers and having creative out of the box solutions to all kinds of situations. So glad this works for you. I will try it on a future project too.

Sounds like a great idea. However I love my Machingers white quilting gloves, they are light weight and don't make my hands hot.

Love it! Not just for dishes anymore! Lol

I've used the rubber finger things that you can get at a office supply store. There not as tight as the finger cots and have grippers on them. They come in different sizes, too. Rather inexpensive. I think they were used for separating papers or money.

Thanks for the tip.

Thanks for this tip. I had heard about this but never tried it. I will now.

I'm glad you reposted the tip/ I must have missed it but I'm certainly going to try it.

It works....thanks so much. I do have gloves, finger cots and a ring that holds in place but this works. For those who don't like to pick them up to move a quilt around....maybe--well, I'll have to work on that idea later today or by next week. I have to work slower now (81) so I don't mind picking up the sponges.

What a great use for the scrubby sponges. I will try it real soon, maybe this afternoon.
