I'll be making a trip to our Dollar Tree store real soon to pick up a package of these. Thanks for the tip.

A clever solution to an onerous problem!

Alyce.......great link....I was thinking it would be good to have something to hold the sponges on your hands.

I would sew a handle on it. Either a strip from one side to the other to slip your four fingers into, or a loop big enough for just one finger. Easy to let go of it, and easy to get into.

Another way to help hold on to your quilt, is to cut a couple fingers off a rubber glove, like for your index and middle finger for each hand. Then you have the grip but not covering your whole hand.

I just opened a new package of those sponges. I will definitely have to try this tip. Thanks for posting it!

Who would have ever thought. What a great tip. Thanks

on a fmq show, I found my newest favorite tip. The instructor used a bit of shelf liner. I bought 1/8 yd and cut about a 5" piece. Very easy to move to the new spot, never awkward, not hot like gloves, plenty of extra to replace if ever gets lost or dirty (but can be washed) and best of all it cost me 50 cents for the whole strip!

I wonder if those sponges that were discovered on shark tank with the holes in them would work also?

I've heard this tip and haven't tried it yet so thanks for the positive review!
