Your quilt is amazing! Just amazing! I love how you incorporated the wild animals into it. I can only dream of making one so beautiful!

All these OBW quilts are beautiful! I have both books and two different fabrics, but haven't started anything yet. I'm itching to get cutting........as soon as my "works in progress" are finished! I love what you ladies have done. Thanks for sharing your pics with us.

For perfection in the triangles. I get this by using a triangle size plus seam allowance from clear plastic then put triangle over the desired place and using a permanent marker draw over the top of a definate shape in the triangle. Now two options. 1. Use as it is or 2 put on other opine of clear plastic on top. You may have to experiment with the glue.
I thought the octagon shapes were kaleidoscopes. Which when I did I lined up the layers carefully. PM if you want to know how used about 6 metres of fabric but plenty left over. |
thanks for this ... it is amazing....

Very pretty. I love the color combos.

Love, love, love this! Evidently if you download a photobooth app one of the features you can use is kaleidoscope. I must look into that to choose fabric but I love yours.

The placement of the blocks has me fascinated. Such talented people!

Tearing the fabric makes sense to me. Great idea.
