Love the kitty cat marsey. Cracked me up.

Quilt for yourself, to make yourself happy first. If it touches anyone else, it's icing on the cake.

Oh, and, there is NO such thing as too much fabric!!!!!

Marsey love your pic.
Take a deep breath and enjoy yourself.

My best tip is to finish what you start. If you hate it, give it to the dog or chariy, but finish it.

Oh my tip .... almost forgot after looking at marsy's post :)/// Don't sweat the small stuff.. Just cut another if it won't fit! lol

Remember it's only fabric.

Be kind to yourself and enjoy what you do.

My advice was going to be the opposite of Carol's and I will still give it and you can decide which suits you personally.

If you decide a project isn't working for you in the middle, give it away, throw it away, donate it. Don't force yourself to finish something that just isn't working for you.

The other advice is THERE IS NO "QUILT POLICE". Do it your way, be proud of it and ignore anyone who tells you differently.

Buy a GOOD seam ripper and learn how to use it properly!!!

And Marsye -- yes, every dollar you spend at the ER is one dollar less that you can spend at Marshall's Dry goods!!!!
