I went to a yard sale this morning and what was setting there in its case? A Singer Featherweight. How much I say, $75.00 she says. I'll take it. Why are you selling it so cheap? I just want to get rid of it.

$75! You got a great deal. Even if you have to have a new motor it's a great deal. FW are the easiest machines to repair and never lose their value. Plus the are so darn cute and sew a perfect stitch. No one but a sewer understands the feeling of owning a FW.

I'm not familiar with Singer Featherweight machines..... but a quick Google has shown me just what a bargain you bagged. Many Congratulations! It's always so good to hear someone got themselves a great deal.

Can you post a picture of your new sewing machine please. Is this a very good sewing machine? I have been trying to find an older sewing machine but I do not know what brand to look for and how much to pay for one.
