Either way looks nice - personally, I like the dark sashing.

I actually would like it either way. Great looking quilt.

Don, I like them without sashing. That way you have a secondary pattern. Love the colors.
If you want the blocks to stand out, definitely the darker gray. To me it makes the blocks more visible. It's your quilt so make it to suit yourself.

Wonderful quilt--I prefer the darker grey and cornerstones would be a great addition.
Love the dark gray sashing! You do such beautiful work! How wonderful that everyone in your family will have a quilt made by you!
I like the dark grey sashing. It will be a beautiful, very masculine, quilt. Great colors!
Another vote for the light gray... I think it makes the blocks look like they are floating. Me likey...
I vote with those who prefer the light gray sashing with cornerstones made from same dark gray in the block. This would give you continuity of the chain. Great work, btw.

Wow, this is really a toss up. The no sashing looks fine, the light grey (my favorite) really develops a nice secondary pattern, but the darker grey sets off the blocks (this is my third choice). I would audition them on a table and note which one grabs my eye every time I walk into the room. If I went with the lighter grey, I would border it with the darker one to frame it out.
