I think it would depend on how well you know the parents of this baby. I know at least one friend whose husband would have freaked about pink, purple, flowers and too cute around his boys, but maybe most modern dads are more enlightened. If you're not sure, I think I'd save it for the next little girl that comes along. It is adorable.

I think the fabric is adorable and neutral but I would ask the parents. It would be a great fabric for a set of boy & girl twins or multiples.

I also think that yellow would go well with the print and is a "unisex" color.

Go with the boys colors in the fabric. There are many blocks and circles. Concentrate on those patterns also. I love bright colors for childrens quilts. As others have said, as long as you leave this fabric with the only pinks, you're okay.

I agree with Wendy. I see it as green with cute turtles on it.

I agree with the majority. Use the "boy" colors and you'll be just fine. Gorgeous titles, BTW.

I love it, pull out the yellows, blues and dark greens. Babies don't use quilts long enough to worry about it and the fabric is darling.

Skip the pink go for reds, yellows and bright blues, even magentas and purples.
Just my opinion,
Pat

hmmm... it depends on the family that receives it. i made one with a very few pink spots and it was kept at the g'mother's (my friend). when i asked the kids about it it was obvious they hadn't a clue what i was talking about. so who made the choice? probably my friend , but pink is pink so now i don't allow even a little. too much work to have it tucked aside.

I don't know the parents. It is someone my daughter works with, and it is early in her pregnancy , so she doesn't know if it is a boy or girl. I already have a girl quilt on hand and wanted to make a boy quilt just in case. I really like this fabric and wanted to use it. I will just add blue, orange, yellow and purple to it. And see what my daughter thinks. She is another one that thinks boys can't wear purple and pinks.
