I like the red. I agree with the person who said the navy dulls the colors of the quilt. I think the red brightens it. It's going to be a lovely quilt!

I vote for the blue. I think it makes a nicer break between your star and the piano key border. Also, the blue makes the reds in the star and border seem a little more alive.

My suggestion would be to first add a white border. Then the navy .... the red pulls your eye away from the centre star and it really should be the shining glory. The binding, I'd audition when I got to that point ... my thoughts right now, are to stick with the navy for the same reason. |
