Default Opinions for my star borders, please

I saw the banded star here on the QB and wanted to make a wall hanging for my door when I move next week. I decided on a scrappy piano key border. However, I can't decide whether to have no narrow inner border or to have red or navy. I'll be binding it in the color of the inner border if you think I should add one. Or which color binding do you think would be better... red or navy? Thanks for your help.

The navy brings out the blue in the star too. Nice block!

Another vote for the Navy. The red seems to differentiate away from your PK border too much and make it seem like an afterthought IMHO.

The blue! Makes the inside of the star pop.

Oh no question about it for me I was immediately drawn to the navy.

The red inner border looks best to me, more cohesive. The outer binding could be red also.

    I totally agree with this.

I said "navy" to myself until I saw the pictures. Then I decided that the navy "drabbed it down"

I like the blue border best, it brings our the blue stripe fabric in the star, Is this paper pieced?
