Hello from Ohio!
|
Hi and welcome. Is it Fractions or Fractures? There's a book out there called Fabulous Fractures - Eay One-of-a-Kind Fractured Quilts by Brenda Esslinger, Ashton Publications.
|
Sorry - that's 'Easy One-of-a-Kind Fractured Quilts' It's early and I haven't had my coffee yet.

There is a free pattern at Northcott under the name "Colorworks" with four different colorways. If this link doesn't work, http://northcott.net/?sid=3&layout=2...=864&colid=426 look for the pattern under the "free" tab.

Welcome from Arizona!

This is a really simple pattern. Make a 4 patch that becomes 8.5 by 5.5 and put a 2 inch sashing on each of the long sides. you end up with an 8 inch(finished) 8.5 inch raw block. turn one horizontal and the next vertical and keep going until the quilt is the size you want. I did an adaptation of this pattern (didn't make 4 patch) in my dinosaur quilt. See it at : http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-164407-1.htm#4597017

Welcome from Idaho.....I looked at the site Murphy suggested and "Fractions" is a very pretty pattern; think I've seen photo of it on this Q Board sometime. Maybe I'll try making one sometime......glad you shared with us!
