How is the pot holder in the picture made.. It is beautiful.

Yeah, the more I tell myself that, the more fun I have. I was telling a coworker that I still get mistakes sometimes, and she said,"Oh, that is the beauty in a quilt." Sure made me feel better.

As I have said before If you do the best you can with the
best you have thats as close to perfect as i can get.

If I post a picture of my recently finished quilt, Anitque Peony, which took me 8 months to make, I too would say its not perfect. Why? I spent days squaring the blocks, triangle and cornerstone. Then hours squaring the quilt, only to realize I forgot to put the lable on befor quilting. And in the end....the quilt is not at all square. One corner is longer than the others. This, I know would probably not be noticable in a photo. I wasn't striving for perfection but for correctness or maybe symmetry. Perhaps these would be better descriptive words? However, maybe it would be best to just post a picture, with the name of the pattern, and we will appraise it.

I've read hat there are artist than put an imperfection into their paitings just so they are not perfect works of art. I've accepted that I will never be perfect and nothing I make will be perfect but if I'm the only one who knows where the imperfection is then so be it.
