I started quilting because of the quilts from china,I purchased one from JCP years ago and returned it right quick, it was just another piece of trash from china.

my quilts are far from perfect but I can work on my mistakes and enjoy doing so

Mine too. Seams don't match, corners cut off, don't care. If I like the way the final product looks and it's finished, then to me it's perfect. If you are not a quilt show judge, don't be checking out every seam and detail of my quilt. And I would never enter one of my quilts in a show anyway.

I just name my flaws " my signature marks" No such thing as perfect quilts at least for me.

My belief is, if it is a warm quilt, it is PERFECT.

I like your post, I feel the same way, and if we were perfect then we would walk on water and since we do not do that, well.....I love to see other peoples quilts, there is so much imagination and talent, and when I see that some quilts are "perfect" and others are "not" then that makes me feel good because I am far from perfect and then I dont think of myself as a failure at learning to quilt, I see my self as doing the best I can and making something with a lot of love put into it.
