Here is a pineapple quilt a friend of mine made and I quilted for her a couple of years ago, but it was paper pieced, no blocks. I have the pattern for it around here somewhere.

Yes, but this is not the same thing as I am talking about. The one I am referring to is made up of squares and triangles and don't look like Pineapples. I don't know why they call it that.

I didn't think so but I though you might enjoy the quilt, didn't to take your thread off track :D

your pineapples are beautiful ozark, thanks for sharing them too! That's what is so great about this forum....such a wonderful variety of patterns to share!

I just found a pattern for a Pineapple quilt by Darlene Zimmerman and fell in love with it. It is done in reds and whites and would be beautiful for Christmas. I was wondering if there are any hints or tricks anyone can share with us.

ozarkgal, that is a pretty quilt!

Gilla, I have seen what you are talking about...either in a tute here, on board, or on tv. Hmmm, fill my head with so much quilty stuff, if I didn't copy, paste, bookmark, etc. I'd lose my head! It's a really great technique isn't it?
It surely is on my bucket list...just can't see the bottom of the bucket anymore

Thanks for sharing. I loved the one you showed. It looks much harder than what I had in mind.
