I'm looking for some new pins. Extra sharp pins that will go into the fabric without catching and pulling. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks

Glass head pins are very sharp, but bend fairly easily.

I have 2 lots of pins. Some are extra long, very fine and yes, they do bend easily. However, if I am using some heavy material or many layers I use some short stubby pins. The long pins are wonderful for piecing.

As I am old enough to have diapered my son in cloth diapers with diaper pins that didn't always glide smoothly into the diaper, I still use this trick with my sewing/quilting pins -- run the pin through your hair and it will pick up just enough oil to glide smoothly. Worth a try.

Assuming you mean straight pins, I love the Clover Silk Pins. Silk pins are made to be thinner than other pins. They leave a tinier hole in the fabric & slide into it more easily. I've found them to be very sharp over a long time (though pins do need to be replaced from time to time as they get dull) and the glass heads are nice because I can iron over them -- just don't accidentally sew over them or drop them as they shatter (you know how I know).

I too like the glass head pins, and I have short ones that have "button" heads that are shorter, but I cannot iron over. These 2 different sets meet my needs.

I bought some Clover glass pins at JAF. I just wish the glass ends were a little bigger, hard to handle for me. They do bend very easily.
