ErinMarie - Great looking blocks !

Thanks, everyone! The first lay out I did had orange/yellow as the center and was atrocious. With a little pushing from my mom, I came up with this.

I LOVE the pinwheels in the log cabin and the patriotic border fabric is perfect!!

Meanwhile, I've been at it again. I still have pinwheels, different sizes...I was making 2 other quilts (Moose Quilts Layer Cake Quiltalong--will post them in pictures later) & as I always use leaders & enders, I was able to get this quilt done as the L&E when making the other 2 quilts. And I still have pinwheels left...will come up with other quilts for them. Anyway, here's pinwheel quilt top #3.

ErinMarie, very pretty quilt!

All my blocks are done, hopefully will have the top assembled by the weekend.

Actually, the idea was started by member brush&thimble way back in Oct I think to start at the new year. She got very busy and couldn't find the time when it was time to start. I talked to her and with her blessing I got it going! It has been so much fun seeing what everyone has come up with. We have a lot of talented people here. So many great ideas for finishing a pinwheel quilt have been posted. I love to look at all of them and I thank you all for your ideas and for help keeping this project going.
Such a simple block ends up with a very beautiful quilt.

Today is day 74!
Keep it up folks!
One a day makes Susie go away and quit nagging you!
:-D

I'm going to add your picture link here for all to see!

Both of them are perfect!

My top is finished. Since I used 7 different solids with 11 rows I only used 77 squares. I'm going to just do a binding in red and look for white fabric with polka dots.

Oh, I love those. And this is another Suzie that has been trying to keep the morale up. I haven't given a pep talk in a while so if anyone needs one, let me know. I am ready, willing and able. I am kinda bummed today, have to take my new long arm back in to the dealer tomorrow; seems a fuse blew and they need to find out why. I hope it is something simple and can return home with me, without going into the "hospital".
