What really counts is what do YOU think of them?

When you have your blocks in rows iron the top row to the right and the second row to the left and the next row to the right and continue.

They look lovely!

Are your sewing lines a little wavy? Not straight lines?
Using 1/4" seams?
Pictures might help.

Get the Go! The baby is too small to do all the dies. Get it from Kelly at ihaveanotion.com. You have to Google for the exact url.
She sells it for $230 and gives you the value die FREE. Great customer service, too.

I like these colors. Not to busy for me but it is your quilt.

Does anyone have a site explaning sizes for making blocks with this method?

No there is no site I know of that explains this!
It's trial and error. Please remember I have made a total of 1 block using this method starting with 8" squares.
Ceil gave us the formula

A finished 6" block is easy!
Start with 2 - 5.5" blocks.
5.5 - .5 x 1.4 - .5 = 6.5 take off seam allowance and you should have a 6" finished pinwheel!

3" blocks
start with 3.4" - .5 x 1.4 - .5 = 3.56 - seam allowance = 3.06"

Please try one of each with scrap fabric and see if it works and let us know.

If this is too stressful (some of us are just math-challenged ), try Rhonda's Cut-down method. It's a little more wasteful fabric-wise, but it's totally no-hassle. I'm sorry I don't have the page for you, but you can do a search on here for Rhonda or for Tutorials. Good luck, and have fun!

I'm in!! I did my first one today though, I'll save them. :)

I'm not a math wiz. My first block is 9". If I do one each day, how big will my quilt be? Should I do less or more? How many rows and how many in each row?
