TIP # 4
After sewing my block together I spray starch it and press, wait until dry and cool before removing it from ironing board. Now I square it off; DONE Put it on your design wall and enjoy! Chisolm Trail block |

????
Is this the thread that we follow for directions for these blocks???? http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-15192-1.htm |
yes craftybear, please post pictures when you have your blocks. Let me know if you have any questions.

So it says to cut 3 1/2 inch square but really I am supposed to cut 4 inch squares? Why don't they just tell you that!?!?!
|
no you need both 3.5 and instead of 3 7/8 I cut 4 inches. the 4 inches you need to cut 3 each of two fabrics to make 6 triangle squares.
you need 8 3 1/2 inch squares to make the flying geese units (4). Does that help? ann ps. I found the directions confusing so I basically cut out what works for me. |
farnsworth how did you make out?
|
I haven't made it yet I hope to work on it tonight I have been so busy with work and sick kiddos I haven't done any sewing. I will post tonight when I get it done, I am still confused by the directions to but will give it a shot.
