I agree--count me in.
I have a lot on my plate (not french fries or onion rings!)right now but would welcome the diversion.
I have to be out of town next week so hope I can get caught up upon my return!

Great. it is so good to see so many people that are interested, everything will be posted and left there for anyone that is either late showing up or is a bit slower in the work.

I am just proof reading the cutting directions and will have them posted shortly, I plan on doing it on the 22nd of Aug, which is a Sat, for those that can't make it that day, the directions will be put out in one download at the end for ease of printing out.

I hope this fits with more schedules.

I will start a new thread on the day of, just to make it easy. For those that are just following along, I will be adding them together so you just need to download one file at the end of the mystery, so you don't need to download along the day, I will be posting them like this, so that you can read and see what everyone is doing without the download.

I'll give it a try. Like I don't have enough to work on right now.

It is 24 inch square but they are 3" blocks so you can easily make up a few more blocks and make it bigger. Or just add some more borders,

If you need help doing it just let me know and I can help as we go along or later.

I assume for a more scrappy look you can use more then one fabric to equil the 40"?

cutebuns 08-12-2009 12:53 PM

absolutly, you can put in lots more colors, though 40" isn't long, if you have several per 40" strip, I would add a bit more.

kwhite 08-12-2009 01:00 PM

Ok. so am I safe in having strips in multiples of 3?

cutebuns 08-12-2009 01:00 PM

Yes, I will even have instructions on using strips shorter than 40"
