Practice quilt
1 Attachment(s)
I am practicing with my rulers and ruler foot. Of course the Opps is on the light fabric. Would you go back and fix it or just move on?

If it were me, I would just move on. At least with a little oops, you can tell it wasn't done with a computer and you said this is a practice quilt. Life goes on, don't sweat the little things. Remember, this is practice, not for judging.

Would I fix an oops on a practice quilt? Not unless figuring out how to "fix a mistake" was the reason I was practicing. If it really bugs you, get a white fabric pen & paint that little stitch. My guess is, you'll be the only one who notices it, though. I leave all of my mistakes in as long as the stitches properly formed. If it happened late in my practice session, I will continue practicing that skill until it is mastered before going onto a client quilt.

What oops? You mean that little tiny thread that green thing is pointing to? on a large quilt you wouldn't even see it.
I will say that the quilting gods have decreed that most of your oopsies will be on areas with contrasting thread! |
I would just move on.

Was going to say "what opps?" because without the green arrow I sure would not have noticed it! I'd probably be like Bree and do some touchup if after I finished it I could even find it again! Nice job, by the way!

You mean where you left your signature? I would move on.
|
I would just move on also.

An "oops" that small would disappear within a quilt... heck, if you hadn't had the little green arrow, I'd never have seen it!!
Pick this out? Nope, and especially not on a practice quilt!! |
I was so busy admiring the points on your stars it took me a minute to find your "oops". I wouldn't give it another thought, unless it really bugs you.
