Love all these baby quilts - beautiful work. I would just leave the points alone. Baby will enjoy playing w/them.

It is wonderful! Let the mom know that the prairie points are 'supposed' to be that way for the baby to be intrigued by and to finger play with them ...

I like the idea of leaving the pp free. I like all of the baby quilts posted too.

Welcome to the board!! I like your quilt very much. The only real solution is to sew the points down at the tips. But I don't think they are objectionable even curled.

Frankly, I love prairie points! This is a beautiful baby quilt, in my opinion, anyway. The new Mother will love it. I am sorry that this happened and I am not experienced enough of a quilter to help you with the wrinkling but I would love to have it for my baby, or my grandbaby's! I hope that the new baby and mother appreciates your workmanship, I know that's not the answer that you were wnating. I still love it!

If you decide to tack down the points, don't just tack at the point. It could leave places to entangle little toes and fingers. Better to have the points sticking up for sucking and chewing on when the teeth start to arrive and the gums need soothing.

I don't think it matters if dimensional points look dimensional - why make them dimensional if you want them to lay flatly? (That's what you tell folk).

Cute quilt. Sure to be loved by Mom and baby.

thanks again to you all for your input!! and for your kind words about my quilt!! both very much appreciated!! i think, since the quilt is finished i will just leave it as is & let the baby enjoy the points!! thanks again!!
