I was a puzzle addict before I became a quilt addict...

I love to do jigsaw puzzles. Do them in the winter when not quilting. I also like crosswrod puzzles
Never put the two together, but it does make sense. I just love to put puzzles together, when I quilt I don't want to do anything else, and when I put puzzles together I have the same feeling.
I do
I love doing jigsaw puzzles as well....ever since I was very young. It's hard to make time right now for both quilting AND puzzles, but I can't wait to retire in a few months and maybe then I can do a puzzle now and then too :D ....maybe

I love jigsaw puzzles! Others are fun too!
For something different, put a puzzle together, then put a sealer-like verathane-on it. You can then put it on the wall, or use it under a piece of glass in a coffee table~ |
I seem to find quilt pattrns in eerything. My son just got new carpet and I sear it was the rail fence pattern.
I love puzzles but once I start one I have to finish. I have trouble walking away (much the same as starting a quilt or reading a good book) !!
I do jigsaw puzzles also.-Just need a break from sewing sometimes.
I love doing puzzles too!

Peggy, Your quilt is so cool. How did you get those letters so neatly put in place? I just love your quilt. Did you create it from your own design or was it a pattern? Either way I sure think its great. |

I LOL when I read this. Yes I love jig saw puzzels, crossword puzzels, matching games, etc. I never associated it to quilting, but I guess it makes sense.
My confession is that I stink at any math beyond the basics. I cannot do even the simplest sudoku puzzles, either. But I rule at jigsaws and crosswords lol.

Must be a direct relationship between quilting and jigsaw puzzles. |
Never thought about that! but in thinking about it, yes that does seem to be true. But then women have been known to be creaters of all sorts of things. Lol
I have one started seeting on my coffee table so I can work on it anytime.
I do. Not much on the seek a words, but love those crosswords.
So sorry, I read this wrong. Please forgive! I do like working puzzles too. Especially with friends and family. |

I love to do jigsaw puzzles. I get it from my Mom..along with my love of all things crafty. The only thing she never got into was quilting..lol.

13 pages and no one mentioned Rebecca Barker quiltscapes puzzles...wow. I have them hanging in my hallway by the quilt room. She also has couple of books on the quilts that I also own. I put them together, glue them and my husband frames them and hangs them for me. Love her site http://www.barkerquiltscapes.com

I do and so do my children and husband. We have two large puzzles laying out right now tha tpeople are working on and we did about 5 over the last couple of weeks. When they are done DH uses puzzle glue and the kids take turns picking out one for themselves to hang up. Guests that worked on them get the finnished puzzle pictures too.
Love them.. can't leave one alone once it's out of the box!
