The senior center is a great place to take unwanted fabric and patterns also general crafts. When a friend of mine passed away I took what the others did not want and donated it to the seniors and they were so thankful.

I would take just the 100% cotton. Goodwill and Salvation Army would be able to make some $ on the other fabrics.

Don't forget the photos

You are a lucky lady! Have fun!

Aboslutely...jack pot..and what you do with it is even better. I loe the ideas to keep what you want and donate to help other charities and things. Make him something too. And let him know his wife's hobby brought so much happiness to those on the receiving end.

You have been blessed!
Take what you want, donate the rest and do not forget to make a quilt in memory for that generous gentleman! Enjoy! A hug! |
Wow, you're very lucky. I would take it all and then sort through it and donate what you don't use or want to keep.
|
Lucky you!!! I agree with the others that said to take it all and then take your time going through it - you just don't know what you might find! :) The stuff that you don't want can be donated.
Very nice of you to think of making him a quilt! Have fun!! |
take it all and go through it at your own pace, and maybe do a nice quilt for him to donate to a nice charity.
