I am 50 and have been quilting just a couple of years.

I'm 34. I'll tell you what, when I tell people I'm a professional seamstress & a quilter they really get into it, especially the guys! Several times it's initiated a cool conversation or sewing challenge too :)

almost 50 - milestone birthday coming in just a few months

33, with a birthday next week. All of my hobbies are old lady hobbies, though. Sewing, knitting, gardening, miniatures...I guess younger women aren't supposed to have any fun at all. ;)

Think the question should be at what age did you start quilting. I was 8 years old. My mom taught me. Been quilting ever since. It is my hobby, stress reliever, general fun.
